ZenduCAM Updates: September 2020

ZenduCAM has a new UI update which has several new features, devices, fixes and enhancements which will significantly boost customer experience while using the application. 

Mississauga, ON — September 23, 2020 – ZenduIT, a leader in value-added telematics solutions and integrations has announced a new update for the ZenduCAM solution. The update will be available on September 25, 2020, and will feature a more user-friendly and accessible application. 

New Telematics Device Support

We are proud to announce two new devices to our clients;

• ZenFalcon, and
• XT2500 OBDii Tracker

The ZenFalcon is a temperature, moisture and humidity monitoring device, which benefits clients from a wide array of industries – including, but not limited to, the food and beverage industry, pharmaceuticals industry and more.

The XT2500 OBDii Tracker is a the universal plug-n-play Vehicle Tracking Unit (VTU), which is useful in cases of light duty/passenger vehicles.

Mobile Application

We have launched a new mobile application with UI updates on both iOS and Android. These updates will make the application much more accessible while allowing for better data storage.

Admin and Measurements 

After reviewing our clients’ feedback, we have implemented new rule options to facilitate better categorization. These options include:

• New Rules for Engine Faults & Measurements for the new XT plug and play devices
• New Rules and Temp Measurements for the new ZenFalcon devices
• Optimization and Fix of Panic Button Delay – resolving bugs and improving performance

Earlier, General Rules did not provide an option to create video by default or any managed services since they are only limited to camera rules and third party telematics rule source.

Insights 

The ZenduCAM Insights has been updated to fix minor bugs, including issues relating to group and date range on dashboard widgets as well as scoreboard and incident report corrections.

Map

We have modernized our Map user interface to be more sleek and intuitive.

Snapshots

A new option has been added on the Trax portal to change the Snapshots Intervals.

Vehicle

With the aim of significantly boosting customer value, our team has added new features to the Trips page. Some of the enhancements are new UI groupings in addition to the highly anticipated new Hyperlapse feature which is available on CP2+ and Z6 Firmware 3.9+.

These features are already embedded in our existing ZenduCAM product – it records a vehicle’s trip and uploads it to our database. After this is completed, users can have the option to view a summary of the entire trip at specific intervals as need be. The summary includes real-time footage across all cameras, speed of vehicle, and GPS location of vehicle.

Exceptions

In the Exceptions page, we have updated the UI dropdown which enables Status Selection with a cleaner look.
